The Institution is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE),New Delhi.The teaching and Non-teaching Staff of the institution is a blend of senior experienced and young dynamic faculty members devoted to the noble cause of education. Many of our students are good at studies and are in great demand from industries in Andhra Pradesh . Our Training and Placement wing tries hard to seek good jobs for our students. The institute at present provides three-year technician course leading to diploma engineering course of State Board of Technical Education and Training ,Andhra Pradesh in the following branches of Engineering.

Govt.Polytechnic at Gannavaram was established by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in G.O Ms.No.219 Higher Education( TE-II ) dated 15th September 2008. At present,the institution is running tempararily in the premises of Zilla Parishad High School for Boys at Gannavaram.The Govt. of A.P started building infrastructure for this instituion in the area of 5 Acres land near by N.T.T.F campus in 2010. As on date it is under construction providing accomodation for office,classrooms,drawing halls and library.The Classrooms and Laboratories are being designed as per the needs of the students.
